I did a little cleaning this weekend of my material and some of my scrapbooking supplies. It took me most of Saturday to do it. I sorted and refolded my material to organize it into types and patterns. I use my some of my material to make padded scrapbooks. So my material can be considered in my scrapbooking supplies. As I folded and put away I began to wonder myself if I had too many scrapbooking supplies. I even started to make a pile of things that I could get rid of. But being the pack rat that I am I couldn’t bear to part with much. I kept thinking of things that I could use them for someday. I need someone else to do my cleaning out. Sad thing it that I didn’t even get to most of my scrapbooking supplies only my material. That will have to wait for another day.

Blog ID: 1490 - How Many Scrapbooking Supplies are too Many? - 2008-02-07

Sometimes when my husband see all my scrapbooking supplies and gadgets, he asks,  "How many scrapbooking supplies do you need?"  I think to myself--I  can have as many scrapbooking supplies as I can hide from my husband. Or maybe I should get a bumper sticker that says  "She who dies with the most scrapbooking supplies wins!" I am really looking into vinyl lettering, so maybe instead of a bumper sticker I should use vinyl lettering and put it on my car window.  Oh no, now I have to add another thing to my scrapbooking supplies--Vinyl lettering.  As long as we are taking inventory of things, we might as well add all my crafting supplies, and don't forget all that material for sewing, scrapbooking and crafting.

Let's put things in perspective- How many fishing poles, guns, tools, camping gear and all the clothing that goes along with these things does he have?  And it is not only fishing poles, but we have over 24 tip-ups for ice fishing. The limit is six per person, but you  know when we go ice fishing we have to take lots of people with us. And of course it is our job to provide everyone with their ice fishing equipment. Which doesn't only include tip-ups, but ice cleats, augers to drill holes and who knows what else. I won't even go into the guns and all the hunting supplies today. So he likes to hunt, fish and camp, well to be honest I like it some too!

So who is going to scrapbook all those memories? If I don't have a variety of scrapbooking supplies how will I make his pages special.  If he see some scrapbooking paper with fish, deer or some outdoor theme, he ask me why don't you buy that? To which I reply, "What I don't have enough scrapbooking supplies yet? To give him credit he really does like it when I finish a nice page for him. So that gives me a reason to buy more scrapbooking supplies. Any one seen any neat new ones lately?
